Out of the Mouth of Babes

Those of you with children will agree with me that kids come up with the cutest sayings sometimes. I often laugh at the things they come up with and think that I will remember, but I soon forget. Anyway so before I forget I just wanted to share some with you;

Cameron asked to have his jacket zipped up and said "I'll be mighty grateful, Daddy if you zip up my jacket." (Keep in mind he is four)

Today Cameron hit Anson. I told Cameron to say sorry.

Cameron "I'm sorry"
Anson "You have to say my name too"
Cameron "I'm sorry, Anson"
Anson "That's OK"

Life would be so boring without children.

After...

I got my new hairdo yesterday and so far I like it. I'll have to play around with it, and learn how to style it. The shorter the hairdresser cut my hair, the curlier it got, so now I have to straighten it. I also had it coloured. Anson was sad that we no longer have the same hair colour. I thought that was sweet.
I also wanted to say thank you to all those who made suggestions. In the end I picked a style based on my husbands opinion.

Before

Well it is time for a new look. I have an appointment on Tuesday for a new do. Any suggestions are welcome.

Snow much fun?

After some really nice days here lately, I was disappointed to wake up Saturday morning with snow on the ground. Cameron on the other hand was super excited. So Doug went out with him to build a snowman. Oddly even though we have long winters, this was the first snowman we made. I'm so blessed to have children, they teach you to have joy in everything.

My Little Boy

Ever since Brandon's birthday it has felt like he is less of a baby and more of a little boy...sad really. But he is such a cute little boy. Brandon has graduated from his infant carseat to a bigger one. He seems to enjoy being able to see more out of the window. It is fun to watch him take in everything he is seeing.

Eating his birthday cake. Yum! Yum!
